I don't really mind doing PEKA reports. It's kinda fun when you carry out the experiment and it works to your expectations. I like to see how the mixture in my beaker bubbles and the magic of science showing amazing reactions to me. I like Chemistry PEKA best because it is the most exciting and interesting. The experiments are more effective and the products are clearly visible.
I don't mind Biology PEKA too because it's fun. There was one experiment where we had to find the energy value of a food sample. So, we set up all the apparatus and burned the bread. It was in flames and it was so cool! It was burning in this massive fire ball when we put it under the the test tube to calculate the energy value. Check out the picture of Wen Wu, he was with another group so his flame wasn't as massive as ours. Unfortunately, we came out of the lab smelling like burned fish and smoke.....hehe :)
The PEKA report I dislike is Physic because the teacher makes us do it again and again and again and again..... well you get the idea......
Anyway, I love doing PEKA experiments but doing it again and again drives me crazy! Tell me, who likes to do something again and again even if it is a little itty bit not so perfect? The teacher is too much of a perfectionist until the results of the PEKA report must be exactly the same as the answer scheme. Then, when we think we're finally done and our report can be passed up, the teacher will say 'Oh, I forgot to mention something class.......'
And all of us will say "Oh man! Not Again!"
Darn, doing PEKA experiment with this teacher is not an easy thing to do........

Last night, the prefects of Sri Cempaka Cheras had their Leadership Night in the North Hall. The profects (prefects undergoing probation) were going to be finally installed to the board. This was their night to show their best, to be the best and to strut their stuff under the lime light. It seem to be going past so fast to the prefects. We started greeting the guest having fun and pride towards the profects that time started flying. Next thing we knew, Datin Freida finished her speech and we were having group photos before we officially ended the ceremony.

I have to say that I was really proud of all of them when I saw them on stage wearing their new prefect ties and with a shiny collar pin on their blazers.

It was late when we finished and unfortunately we had school in the morning. So, today all of the prefect were pretty tired...... Half asleep in some classes, I somehow managed to get through the day with some breaks and movie intervals.

It was quite tiring this whole week actually.... Haha, wish this year was not so cramp!

My immune system and I never agree with each other. It's like a disobeying puppy that you order to sit but it goes scampering around your feet wildly. (I'm kinda writing random here so don't worry if things suddenly don't make sense)

Due to my poor immune system, I could not tolerate the presence of too many sick people around me at one time. Unfortunately, I didn't realised that most of my friends with me were sick like person A and person B.

Person A always gets me sick one way or the other. It's not that person's fault because it's just my poor immune system. In school, person A will innocently be with me and will act normally even though person A is feeling sick. Person B is also a friend from English Oxford Literature tuition. Person B normally never gets sick but unfortunately I happen to be with person B when risk of getting sick is very high. Another factor that trigger my immune system to fail is the rainy and cold weather. Rain will pour heavily every afternoon without fail, chilling me to the bone and soaking my socks and shoes.

The end product, the worst weekend ever.

I planned to hang out with a bunch of friends for the first time since the holidays. I planned to meet up with some old friends, probably hang out in 1 Utama with them. The next day, I was going to go out with some school friends to watch a movie and all that.

My immune system has the best timing to fail me.... I got really sick with fever, cold and everything to keep me in bed for the next two days... how great is that.... I feel really bad to put everyone down after planning so much.

On the bright side, I learned that my immune system and I have some communication problem to solve between us. Maybe I can use the Mind Over Matter method to overcome sickness......

I'm finally free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah! Exams for the year is over and I was seriously having a headache trying to revise and study everything..... All the exams were cramped in and the arrangements of subjects for the examination was so unlikable.....

I have the feeling that I better enjoy life before my results come out......

Anyway, I came to school today. Only eleven form 4 Science 1 students, two Science 2 prefects and five Form 4 Commence students came to school today. Since the exams were over, everyone was online chatting, updating blogs and whatever else that are related to using a laptop computer......

We (the prefects and Yukee) just went to the form 3s to wish them luck in their PMR which is next week. It looked like they needed the motivation because they looked so fed-up, bored and scared.... I remember feeling like that too when I was in form 3 last year...

We gave them lots of support and saying things like: "Don't drink coffee, tea or any caffeine drinks before PMR...Sleep well, eat well! Continue doing more question... Don't discuss you answers after taking your paper! etc"

After that, we came back to class to join the rest onlining and all that.

It's still early but I wonder what else will we be doing today?
