‚ô• i'm not alone... there's always the pond with me

Sigh..... Finally out from a tiring day at the hospital. I've been there for two days just because of a sprained ankle. Imagine a small thing could create so much trouble and PAIN! Oh man the pain was terrible the first day! There was so much pain that I couldn't feel my feet anymore...
But the humiliation was not how I fell and sprained it but where I sprained it, it was in a very impossible place for me to fall but I did. To those who are reading this, i'm sorry I can't tell you unless you come up and ask me personally where I fell.

Anyway, I ended up being
admitted in the hospital because the doctors said that it was a very bad sprain to have so many bruises. It really look swollen and blue-black when I unwrapped my feet from the band-aid I used to cover it. It was too horrible to even call it my feet.

However, it may be a blessing in disguise because I have never been admitted to the hospital so this was a one of a kind experience for me. Besides that, I was excused from a dance that I dreaded doing and my mum allowed me to skip piano lessons. My parents are kinda afraid that I'll carelessly injure it more it or make it even worse.

In the hospital, I was told that I had to use crutches to support myself. I was told that it was important as they want the swelling to go down and do not want me to apply any pressure on it.
I began training. Training for what you may ask.... Well it's not that i'm lying around the hospital the whole day. My injury required a different kind of treatment.

Every morning, I would be trained how to use my crutches and begin walking around and around the physiotherapy room. It was kinda fun because i had never used it before but my arm soon ached from supporting myself. After that, the physiotherapist would put my feet in ice cold water and use a ultra-scanner to complete the treatment. It was a nice feeling for a while until the pain came back.I would then be wheeled back in a wheel chair to my room for a good day's rest.

After two days there, I have to admit that I began to miss school because 1) I missed all my friends  2) It was boring in the hospital. I didn't have much to do except catch up with homework and sleep.

Things got more interesting when I came back from school :) Read my next blog post for part two! For now I have other things to do......
